IFI Audio xDSD DAC Headphones Amplifier with Bluetooth
The xDSD is one of iFi’s advanced, affordable and portable DAC. It is made from dark titanium vacuum ion plated metal enclosure and has a radio-frequency transparent end cap that allows full CD-wireless music transmission. This allows Bluetooth connectivity for Apple/Android to stream music from any streaming platforms. The xDSD also supports PCM768/DSD512 and MQA formats for studio quality audio. At the heart of the xDSD is the Burr-Brown multibit DSD1793 DAC chipset that deliver realistic, musical sound. S-Balanced technology from iFi is also present on the xDSD making noise and distortion to be lowered by up to 3 times. Even non-balanced headphones crosstalk and distortion are reduced by 50%. The xDSD features Cyberdrive headphone amplifier design that is exclusive to the x-series. It incorporates the iFi OV4627 ultra low noise FET input Op-Amp and W990VST digitally controlled stepped attenuator. This allows the device to operate difficult to drive headphones and yet offers very low noise for sensitive IEMs automatically without switching anything.
