MPD218 - MIDI-USB Pad Controller
The MPD218 is a lightweight MIDI-USB pad controller with MPC controls and technologies bringing the musicians, producers, DJs and other users to the classic world of beat-making in music production. The pad controller is further improved with its new 16 ultra-sensitive Thick Fat backlit MPC pads which can be used to trigger drum hits and other samples in the software giving off an absolute responsive user experience. The users can also switch between its 3 pad banks in order to control up to 48 samples. The MPD218 has a control set of 6 knobs accessible via 3 banks having a total of 18 assignable 360° potentiometers helpful in creating a maximized sound and an increased control over the effects. Installation of any drivers are not required as it supports plug-and-play connectivity with Mac and PC and it can be powered up easily using the included USB cable. The controller is also compatible with iOS devices through Apple’s Camera Connection kit (sold separately) and includes various free software such as Akai Pro MPC Essentials, Ableton Live Lite, Software Preset, etc.
