MEE Audio M6 PRO In-Ear Monitors Headphones Review

Introduction:

High-end earphone usually tend to cost upwards of a thousand dirhams – but something has caught our eye: the MEE audio M6 Pro costs way lower than that. For only $50, the MEE audio M6 Pro has all the innards of the high-end earphone but at a price that everyone could afford. Let us go have a look.

Design:

The MEE audio M6 Pro looks like more of the premium earphones available at the moment. This particular model we’ve got comes with earpieces in a clear see through shell. It’s also sweat-resistant, meaning that you can freely use the earphones even when in a workout.

The MEE audio M6 Pro also comes with two cables: one with build-in inline remote so you can control volume and playback and another standard stereo cable. Both cables are engineered in a way that it can withstand wear and tear and are less likely to get tangled. These cables are also detachable, meaning that it can be easily replaced when it gets broken.

The new ultrathin 5 micrometer diaphragm along with an aluminum voice col lets the M6 Pro offer a more balanced audio – this means rounded bass and clear detailed trebles.

The MEE audio M6 Pro includes an in-ear design that manages to block outside noise. It uses the Comply T-Series memory foam that’s very comfortable to the ears, perfect for use even at the gym, out the street or inside your room.

Setup and Performance:

For testing I’ve used the MEE audio M6 Pro on an iPhone and an Android phone using the cable that has an inline remote.

I fired up some Lenny Kravitz hits and I immediately noticed the warm bass that is being pushed through the earphones. Some may find it lacking compared to other bass-heavy earphones, but from what I have heard, it’s just right.

Each instrument echoed with perfect quality though the MEE audio M6 Pro. Voices are clear, while mid and highs all hit the right amount of tone, something that you wouldn’t expect from a $50 earphone.

The MEE audio M6 Pro also manages effectively isolate background noise with the include Comply tips. Silicone tips are also included, though for better noise isolation the Comply tips are recommended.
