The TX-NR696 is a harmonious mix of tech and tradition that adapts to entertainment life in every source, from 3D film-scores to vinyl records. It is equipped with Chromecast, works with Sonos, AirPlay 2 and DTS Play-Fi with streaming services for smooth multi-room audio evolved by the support of the new high-speed 802.11ac (2x2 MIMO) Wi-Fi. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X provide audiences with immersive experience in movies and games, THX Certified assures a cinema-reference experience. If 5.2.2-ch setup is not possible, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer and DTS Virtual:X creates a 3D sound-field from horizontal speaker layouts. Zone 2 outputs bring amped multi-source audio to two rooms.
