Now You can now talk to your TV with the new Fire TV Stick from Amazon

The new updated version of Fire TV Stick had many new cool features that will make your TV watching experience even more enjoyable – you’ll be soon able to yell at your TV to make it change the volume or change the channel, and that’s awesome if you ask me!

In a similar way to Amazon Echo and Echo Dot, the Fire TV Stick uses Amazon’s AI Technology; Alexa. The only difference is where you can say “Alexa” to wake your speaker’s voice command feature, you’ll have to click a button on the remote to activate voice command for the Fire Stick. These Commands vary from simple “open app x” commands to more complicated ones like “fast forward 40 seconds”.

The UI is promising to be more user interactive – allowing users to reach trailers and screenshots without using multiple apps, therefore, easier content reaching directly from the main interface.

For now, Amazon confirmed more than 7000 applications, Alexa skills, and channels that will be available for the Fire Stick, including NETFLIX, BBC iPlayer, and much more.

The specifications of this device didn’t much changed from the previous version, but it’s announced that it will be 30% faster than the previous, this also comes with a quad-core CPU and 802.11ac MIMO Wi-Fi, support for Amazon Video’s Advanced Streaming and Prediction (ASAP) is also confirmed, which means it will be able to predict what content you’ll watch later and offer recommendations based on user preferences.

As Amazon revealed earlier, the Fire Stick will be shipped for Pre-Ordered users on April 6th, it’s available for pre-order now for around 40$ on amazon.
