Samsung Officially Announces The New Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Samsung has just unveiled its long awaited phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 9 at Unpacked 2018 event, which was set up by the South Korean giant for the announcement of the new smartphone.

Using the most powerful technologies available, Samsung gives us the most powerful phablet ever, supporting it with the best specifications, most powerful battery ever used with the Note series and the biggest supported expandable memory that can reach up to 1TB. All of that beside the support of the new innovative S Pen.

Samsung also announced that the Samsung DeX technology is now supporting the Note series for the first time. The technology that previously supported the S series can turn Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to a full functioned PC by connecting it to a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 O 2960 pixels and approximately 516-ppi density. The Infinity Display aspect ratio is 18:5:9 with approximately 83.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. Samsung used the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect its superior display.

The dual rear camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 consist of a 12 MP, f/1.5-2.4, 26mm, 1.4µm lens with dual pixel PDAF and optical image stabilization for the primary lens, beside a secondary 12 MP, f/2.4, 52mm, 1µm lens supported with auto-focus, optical image stabilization an 2x optical zoom.

The single front camera comes with an 8 MP, f/1.7, 25mm, 1.22µm lens, also supported with auto-focus and auto-HDR technology and supports dual video call option.

The heart of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 powered by Exynos 9810 processor for some versions and by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor for other versions; both processors are Octa-Core processors with Mali-G72 MP18 and Adreno 630 GPUs respectively.

The new powerful phablet will be available with memory up to 8 GB RAM, and both 128 and 512 internal storage. Galaxy Note 9 also features the huge non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery that can be charged by USB 3.1 Type-C port.

Such as the recent Samsung flagships, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with an iris scanner, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner contrary to the rumors that predicted that the new smartphones would feature the new innovative in-display fingerprint scanner.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be available in Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple, Metalic Cooper, and Midnight Black colors, and comes as Single SIM or Hybrid Dual SIM variants.

Samsung announced that the new flagship will cost US $999.99 for the 128GB version and will cost US $1,249.99 for the 512 GB version that will be available only at select retail locations and online.
