Apple announce the new iPhone XS, the best iPhone ever

Apple has announced the new generation of its iPhone. Here we are talking about the new iPhone XS smartphone, which looks almost similar to the previous version, but there are two immediate differences that you would notice. First,  it is available in gold unlike last year; but more importantly, is that the size is relatively larger.

The iPhone XS includes a better dynamic range display, wider stereo sound from the speakers, increased speed on the Face ID sensor, enhanced water resistance, and a major upgrade, with the newly unveiled A12 Bionic processor, Six-core, which is among the first chips in the industry that uses a 7-nanometer architecture.  “It is the most advanced iPhone we’ve ever made.” the CEO of Apple Tim Cook described the new iPhone.

The new iPhone XS comes with a 5.8-inch screen like the iPhone X but is actually smaller than the 5.5-inch iPhone 8 Plus. The phone features a whole new camera system, although the specifications look much the same at a high level. Wide-angle cameras and rounded rear cameras still have 12-megapixel sensors with optical stabilization.

But the wide-angle camera is now using a new sensor with larger pixels. The zoom camera has a larger slot, so the cameras should perform better in low light. The front-end camera is supposed to be faster too, but the lens and megapixel have not changed.

The biggest upgrade in the iPhone XS camera technology may be the way these cameras capture images. Apple has introduced a new method called “Smart HDR” that is very similar to what Google has on its Pixel phones; it captures many images and integrates them into a single image. It’s not quite different from the HDR methods used by Apple in the past, but it certainly will do better.

There is also a dual SIM card support feature. The phone supports, for the first time, two phone numbers and data plans, using one physical SIM card and the integrated SIM card from Apple. This means that service providers will need to add support for the electronic SIM card to do so; but this will be a problem in China, because it won’t be possible for Apple to make a deal with the Chinese service providers, therefore, Apple is producing a special edition for the Chinese market with two physical sim cards. But it is still a big addition because Apple has not provided this before, and the phone will see an improved life of the battery, where the phone will get 30 minutes more than last year’s version.
