Apple Music update brings refreshed look to Browse section

Apple is not always very vocal about the updates of its music streaming service but the latest Apple Music update might be worth mentioning. The most noticeable change in the interface of the streaming service comes to the Browse tab and it will be present on both iOS and MacOS devices. Here is what the new organization and presentation of playlists include.

At the very top of the Browse tab of Apple Music now there is the “Daily Top 100” section which was officially launched in the second half of 2018. Moved from the bottom of the Browse section under Top Charts area, Top 100 playlists for certain regions are now easier to find and play.  Below the Daily Top 100, users can find the “Weekend Warrior” section which was moved to a more obvious spot. It features playlists of different genres of music dedicated to weekends which might mean that the service will now provide frequently interchanging themed sections as part of Browse.

Going further down is the “Just Updated” section with updated playlists of different genres and moods. When it comes to the rest of the Browse section, latest Apple Music update did not change it quite a lot as it looks pretty much the same, featuring the Hot Tracks and New Music sections with the latest most popular songs while the very bottom now features “We’re Loving” section for albums recommended by the service editors.

Apple Music streaming service offers over 50 million songs with a monthly subscription fee of $10 with an opportunity for 50% discount for students.
