Blackberry may soon start making more tech products

after announcing their new Blackberry KeyOne at MWC2017 manufactured by TLC, Blackberry’s CEO John Chen recently announced a new “Enterprise of Things” that Blackberry will be working on licensing in the upcoming period, which means Blackberry may be planning to release some other types of handheld devices like tablets and such, or they’re planning to hit the wearable tech market with a new smartwatch.

Anyhow, whatever it is, it will definitely have the secure software focus we saw in KeyOne, as the CEO announced, “we will work with a wide range of manufacturers to integrate BlackBerry Secure software into both BlackBerry-branded and co-branded devices.”

Blackberry doesn’t currently have any license for their own hardware manufacturing – and it doesn’t look like this will change anytime soon, so they’re depending on other manufacturers like TLC to release their new products, this means whether it’s a smartwatch or a tablet, no Blackberry hardware will be seen soon.
