Chord Announces Firmware 1.0.26 For Poly

Chord’s Poly certainly has done wonders in terms of expanding the versatility of the Mojo to being well-beyond that of similar products, allowing the Mojo+Poly combo to work as a standalone player, as well as a streamer. With the release of firmware version 1.0.26, Chord are steadily improving the Poly, as well as gearing it up for another upcoming feature.

What’s the deal with update 1.0.26?

The update brings a few changes and improvements to the Poly, including a security patch and some other operational changes. According to Chord, these changes include:

1. Important functionality enabling the imminent release of GoFigure
2. A security update which includes the ability to create a Hotspot password
3. A fix for Poly appearing multiple times in DLNA control apps
4. When playing back via Bluetooth this is now indicated by the P-status flashing purple
5. The config button can now be used to select between the various operational modes, which includes factory reset.

The first point is rather interesting, as it seems that Chord is getting closer and closer to releasing the much anticipated GoFigure app.
