A look at weekend’s biggest game reveals – Death Stranding, Bayonetta 3, and Bloodborne 2?

In what was perhaps the last gaming-centered weekend of 2017, we were treated for the past couple of days to tons of new trailers and reveals at both The Game Awards 2017 and PlayStation Experience 2017. Haven’t kept up with the news lately? Don’t worry, we got you covered all in one place.

Below you’ll find all the important announcements of games shown at both TGA and PSX, so fasten your seat belt and let’s go for a wild ride.

New Fortnite mode

As a start we have Fortnite: Battle Royale coming back to the spot light with a new exciting mode. The game that was popularized due to it sharing similarities with 2017’s hottest multiplayer title PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds, but the new mode is certainly nothing that we saw in the later. 50 v 50 pits players against each other in two teams where they have to work united to fortify their bases and defeat the enemy team. First look at PUBG newest desert map

Next we have the OG Battle Royale game itself, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.  The Miarmar map was revealed in a gameplay trailer which also showed that the full 1.0 game release is coming December 20 to PC. The new map is available to try through the test server right now.

Escape with your partner in A Way Out

A great looking trailer for “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” developers’ next game. A Way Out is a unique Co-op game that sees two players controlling the protagonists in split screen or online, and luckily, you’ll only need one copy of the game with the other person playing for free with an extra copy you get after purchasing the game.

Zombie hordes return in World War Z

Do you need more zombies in your games? Then you’ll be glad to know that the Book-turned-movie is now turning into a 4 players co-op game that is coming next year for PC and home consoles. Not much details here, so make what you want of the trailer shown up there.

Discover ancient Egypt with In the Valley of Gods

Firewatch developers return once again with another compelling adventure called In the Valley of Gods. The game looks interesting and it’s described as a narrative First Person experience filled with treasures and challenges. The game is coming next year on Steam, but no details when yet.

New game from Bulletstorm and Painkiller developers

What happens if you decide to combine the atmosphere of Vanishing of Ethan Carter with crazy gameplay of the classic Painkiller? the answer is Witchfire. The game sure looks interesting, so keep an eye out for it.

SoulCalibur is back!

Bandai Namco revealed what we were all asking for at last, SoulCalibur VI. The sister franchise of Tekken is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC for the first time in series history.

Everyone’s favorite witch is back with Bayonetta 3

SoulCalibur was not the only thing coming back, as Platinum confirmed that Bayonetta 3 is in fact indeed in development exclusive for Nintendo Switch. Both Bayonetta 1&2 are coming to Switch next February, according to Reggie Fil-aime.

Is this really Bloodborne 2?

You’re here for Bloodborne 2, aren’t you? Well, we have good and bad news. The good news is that it’s a new project we’re seeing from From Software. Bad news? It may not be Bloodborne 2 really and it’s because of this teaser mysterious nature that’s driving fans insane all around the world. Will there really be another Bloodborne game or is this a Tenchu ninja game? We have to wait till E3 to know.

New DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Nintendo wasn’t the only winner at The Game Awards, as fans were rewarded for their contributions with Champions Ballad” DLC which is now available for download for this year’s Game of the Year Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Some new info on the new God of War

Despite not having a new trailer at PSX and TGA, director Corly Balrog confirmed that the game has reached its final stages and it’ll take players an average of 25-35 hours to finish it with extras.

Detroit: Become Human is amazing

A live demo by Quantum Dream utilized PSX 2017 audience helping to take the choice at the stage. The game looks great and has many branching routes you can choose from. We advise you to watch the whole video above yourself.

Childhood hero returns in MediEvil Remaster

Do you remember playing something called Medievil on PS1؟ Then you’ll be happy to know that Sony hasn’t forgotten about the franchise and a PS4 remaster is coming. Announcement came through SIE’s CEO Shawn Layden, who confirmed that Sony is listening to its fan base with this new release in development.

Last but not least, what did we just saw in Death Stranding؟

Don’t worry, it’s normal to feel confused after seeing a Death Stranding trailer. However, it’ll all make sense after you play for “4 to 5 hours” of the full game. Japanese gaming icon Hideo Kojima, creater of the Metal Gear series has revealed his strange new trailer for the game which was very interesting to watch. Sadly, we didn’t get gameplay this time as well, but this 8-minute trailer is sure to make you intrigued by the game.
