TAGA Harmony’s Diamond B-60 v.2 speaker is finally out

Diamond series of flagship speakers by TAGA Harmony, a mid to high-end hi-fi audio equipment manufacturer, is finally getting a second and improved version of its featured products. TAGA Harmony Platinum series has already reached version 3, but for the Diamond series, improvements were not an easy task as the flagship speakers featured the best possible details the company offered at the time. Now, it is time for Diamond B-60 v.2 speaker, that contains upgraded features from their popular bookshelf model from Diamond series 1 with much-improved results.

There are several upgrades on the new Diamond B-60 v.2 speaker, all of which have in final product affected the overall performance of the speakers, with a deeper and more defined bass, more smooth and yet rich midrange tones, and finally, clearer highs than v.1. The first change is an upgrade of the internal wiring by specifically designing the whole system for the Diamond v.2 series. The reason behind the change is the elimination of loss of details while the signal travels from the amplifier to the drivers, which are now connected by 14AWG multi-stranded Oxygen Free Copper XLO internal wiring.

One of the ways TAGA Harmony has improved the performance of the Diamond B-60 v.2 bookshelf speaker is by featuring Ogrodnik crossover, which uses a minimal number of ultra-high quality components in both high-pass and low-pass crossover. This leads to better neutrality, as well as much greater precision and handling of a huge amount of power.

The improvement in the S-TLIE enclosure leads to decrease in any interferences. As the structure of the Diamond B-60 v.2 speaker is modified, the distortions and vibrations are significantly less present, while there is bigger internal volume. There is also a change in the enclosure damping material that additionally limits the distortions, but also results in smoothness at all ranges.

Even though the most important changes are not visible, there are some esthetic changes in the Diamond B-60 v.2 speaker. The front logo magnetically attaches to the speaker housing, allowing you to remove it as you wish in order to match the interior design of your room and elegantly fit on your shelf. The company also added an ebony veneer with clear gloss piano lacquer to their range of natural wood veneers.
