Fabriq smart speakers have an unusual and colorful design
Since Amazon launched its own smart wireless speaker Echo, Alexa became of the most popular voice assistants. The two Fabriq smart speakers, Chorus and Riff, are more affordable but still deliver excellent sound.
What makes Chorus and Riff stand out of the crowd of similar cylinder-shaped speakers is the cloth design. The difference in the two models is in the size, as Riff is the smaller more portable one that needs to have a button pressed to activate Alexa, while Chorus is designed more like a home speaker that always listens for Alexa awake words. The speakers rely on both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. This means that at home they can be used as a smart speaker using WiFi, while if taken on a trip or party you can still play music from the Bluetooth connected smartphone. Fabriq also enabled multi-speaker connection allowing up to 10 Fabriq speakers to be connected together that can be controlled through the FABRIQ app. The battery life of Riff is 5 hours while for Chorus it is 6 but if set at home, it can be placed on its wireless charging cradle keeping it always charged.

Fabriq smart speakers are quite affordable with Chorus being priced at $99.99, and Riff, the smaller one, is priced at $49.99 on the company’s website. Each comes in a different pattern, some of which include plaid, splattered pattern, and mandalas.
