FiiO Aplen2 E17K Portable AMP and DAC Preview
After more than 2 years in development it is out, the FiiO Alpen-2 E17K is a second generation of FiiO E17, a compact headphone Amp and a High Res USB DAC, that can pair of OTG compatible smart phones and all PC’s and Mac to enhance the audio output for you headphones or speakers.
FiiO has made some great improvements on the design, build and sound quality of the E17K, the all-new multi functional click wheel and the intuitive UI makes the E17K a joyful experience, the new DSD and 96k/32 bit support enhanced the audio experience drastically.
The E17K is able to drive most of the full sized headphones with ease and have a fairly natural sound, and listeners can enrich their experience with the BASS, TREBLE controls add some dynamic feel to spice up the sound, Battery life is extended to more than 15 hours which means a lot to portable users one the move.
