Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and The Galaxy S9+ were unveiled after year since the announce of Galaxy S8 series. The announce was at a separate event from the MWC 2018 conference, The Galaxy Unpacked Event.

A few days ago I spoke in a separate article about the expected specifications, leaks, predictions and rumors about the Galaxy S9 specifications . and now it’s the time to announce the final and official Galaxy S9 specifications , along with Galaxy S9+ , so follow the upcoming lines.

The company today published the launch video on Twitter, and did not explain anything other than the phone’s focus on the camera one more time.

A video was first shown showing the shape and design of the phone. The most important design changes are the minimization of the edges at the top and bottom of the Infinity Display screen.

The company added Uninterrupted Display technology to become a touchscreen and edge-to-edge display with virtually no edges.

The Galaxy S9 comes with a 5.8-inch screen, the Galaxy S9+ is 6.2 inches, and with aspect ratio of 18.5:9 for both of them.

The phone comes in four colors, Platinum Silver, Black Night, Blue and Purple.

Intelligent Scan technology, which combines iris scanning and face recognation, has been introduced to increase phone security, and to compete with iPhoneX’s biggest feature.

Speaking of the camera, the phone has a 12MP dual camera, where the company claims it is filming what the human eye see.

The camera has an F1.5 lens, which is the best in terms of images in low light conditions. In addition, the camera can process images at a rate four times faster than before.

Super Slow Motion technology was on top of the Xperia phone last year. This technology can shoot from 260 to 960 frame per second. The videos taken with this technology can be placed as the background of the large screen phone.

Unlike Super Slow Motion technology, the dual camera phone has an advanced level of Optical Image Optimization techonolgy.

The artificial front and back camera can be used to make expressive Emoji similar to your face using AR EMOJI technology, as well as the ability to add voice effects with your sound to express yourself and share them with friends via Facebook, WhatsApp .. etc.

There is also the Action Emoji feature that enables you to control the Emojis to communicate through it, and take the movement of your face with enormous possibilities to customize the shape of your emoji in terms of lipstick, skin color, hair and even more.

AR Emoji’s features can also be used to become a Disney character such as Mickey Mouse, Mini Mouse and The Incredible.

The company has also added a number of enhancements to its personal assistant – Bixby, with several features including instant translation and calorie recognition in the food through the camera app.

You can also use Bixby to buy and shop through your phone’s camera, both in Canada and the United States.

Both Galaxy S9 and S9+ have the first stereo speakers in the history of Samsung, and are 1.4 times louder than the Galaxy S8.

Multi-tasking features in the phone enable you to respond to notifications without closing open applications by dragging them down, and even without having to open the application itself to respond through.

Samsung Pay service has been expanded to become available in 20 different markets, and the company has announced its intention to expand it further in the coming years.

The Price and availability of Galaxy S9 and S9+

Talking about the availability of the phone and its price, it will be available on the sixteenth of March next, with the possibility of pre-order on the second of the month.

As for prices, the S9 will be available at $720, while the Galaxy S9+ will be available at $840.
