Google launches a new updated Goolge Chromecast

Since its launch back in 2013, Google Chromecast was updated only once, we heard a few rumors before about a new update, and here it comes. During the Pixel 3 press release, Google announced many new products, including a new Google Home Hub, Google Pixel Slate, and a new Chromecast, that’s beside the new Pixel 3, and Pixel 3XL.

To get down to the third generation of the Chromecast, the streaming tool got a new design with a matte black finish and Google’s trademark G in the middle giving it a simpler design that goes with Google’s theme.

The new Google Chromecast got some new technical improvements as well. Google said that the new generation is 15% faster than the older one, it is not a big number, but Google claims that it is enough to add support for streaming 60fps video at 1080p, instead of 720p that we used to stream it with the old Chromecast.

Another cool feature that will be launched later this year is that the new Google Chromecast will have the ability to work as an Audio Chromecast, which will let you stream audio content on other speakers.

Besides everything we mentioned, everything stayed the same, the price is still $35, and the rumors about the Chromecast getting the support of Bluetooth 5 or 4K are not true apparently.

So same old Chromecast with a few improvements is here, you can order it already on Google Store website.
