Pixel 3: the newest and smartest phone by Google is finally out

Google’s annual event #madebygoogle is taking place today, 9th October in New York City, USA, where Google will reveal its latest hardware, including phones, Chromecast, etc. Among the announced Google devices is its latest smartphone, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. There were many leaks previous to the event on what Pixel 3 will be like, but today they have finally revealed exactly what you can expect from, as Google presents it, “the smartest, most useful device in your life”.

Pixel 3 is to have the smartest camera that even professional photographers would enjoy using it. Google has kept the HDR Plus method offering you a brighter, more detail image with strong colors using the Pixel Visual Core imaging chip. Combining its best hardware and AI technology, Pixel 3 also has the Top Shot option that helps you get an amazing photo even if you missed the moment by a second, Super Res Zoom to take detailed and clear zoomed in shots and Night Sight that lets you capture the moment even in low light setting, as well as Group Selfie Cam and newest feature, the Playground with life-like movie characters.

Talking about speaker upgrade, the Pixel 3 will have a 40% louder and yet richer sound than the previous version, coming from its front firing speakers so that you can even use it outdoors. In addition to this, Google has created a deal for all future owners of Pixel 3 by giving you a free 6 months trial for YouTube Music to try out the improved speakers.

Pixel 3 has a matte finish on an all-glass back means it has the smooth two-toned design. You can choose between Just Black, Clearly White and Not Pink color options and a screen size between 5.5 inches on Pixel 3 or 6.3 inches on the new Pixel 3 XL that has edge-to-edge screen design. Additionally, a titan security chip embedded into the device will save your most secret data from potential threats.

Other features involve Google Lens integration in your camera, unlimited Google Photos storage in original quality, and Google Assistant voice assistant. Newest Google Assistant feature coming soon means you will get help in finishing real-life tasks over the phone, such as reserving a table at a restaurant, and new Pixel owners will be the first to try the feature out when it rolls out. The price of Google Pixel 3 will be $799 and is, starting today, available for preorder on the company’s website. There is also the new Pixel Stand wireless charger designed to charge your Pixel 3 super fast, that is also available for preorder at $79. Pixel 3 will be available to 12 markets in addition to the US, starting November 1st.
