Grado RA1 Headphones Amplifier Preview

The RA1 is an AC powered headphone amplifier it is hand made from a solid piece of Mahogany wood, no difference than all Grado products they like to keep things so simple and classic, the RA1 has a single headphone 6.3mm input jack on the front panel and a volume control nob so all you need to do is plug in your headphones and listen, on the back panel there’s a line input jack compatible with any audio source with a line out.

The sound character of the RA1 has a nice warmth to it, I’ve noticed it more to the brighter side and highs are a little more emphasised, with very minor distortion, but to sum things up I found it to be a very lovely addition to my home audio collection.
