Guess Who’s Back: Nokia 3310 is back!

Nokia’s biggest sales success is back! And you guessed right, it’s a feature phone, not a smart phone. The design is reworked but you can very clearly see the heritage, resembling closely the original Nokia 3310. The Finnish company tries to wow nostalgia lovers and retro-affionados with a simple and cheap mobile without any of that app-nonsense.
It features a 2.4 inch color display in QVGA resolution, a 2 megapixel camera with flash and a micro SD card slot for the photos (remember – no apps). The Nokia 3310 runs the tried and tested Series30 OS which offers way more functionality than the original but is still severely limited by todays standards.

Additional features are two SIM card sockets, Opera Mini – a small and elegant web browser – and a modernized version of the classic SNAKE game so many of us grew up with.

Standby time is supposedly one month (!!!) and the talk time is 22 hours.
It will be charged via a micro SD port. It comes with 16 MB internal memory (yes you  read that right, Mega- not Gigabytes). It only supports 2G networks.
Release: 2nd quarter 2017 for a projected price of around $50. It will be released in 4 funky colors.
