Make any headphones wireless with Auris Amplify device

Even though there are more and more wireless headphones on the market, there are some really good wired headphones with amazing performance and audio quality but come with the problem of having to connect them directly to your smartphone which might result in you missing out on buying them. Or, you invested a lot in a really good pair of wired headphones that you absolutely love but they are not always convenient for you to use on the go. But, not all is lost. Auris Amplify is a Hi-Fi Bluetooth headphone amplifier that is specifically designed for this problem, allowing you to stream audio wirelessly to your wired headphones from any smart device.

We must mention the audio specifications at first. It has the classic 3.5 mm auxiliary audio input for your headphones, and it features audiophile-grade DAC within the Auris Amplify device. It is compatible with AAC, aptX Classic, HD and LL audio codecs. Due to the Qualcomm aptX, it has a very minimized latency considering it uses streaming in process of playing audio, and it keeps the high resolution at each step. The sound stays clear and dynamic. In general, the device is very simple to set up, you plug in your headphones and the pair it over Bluetooth with any smart device you want to play your music from, and then just choose your song and enjoy.

The battery lasts around 12 hours of playtime, so you can go through the whole day without additionally charging it. The Auris Amplify requires up to 3 hours maximum to fully charge. Initially, the prototype had a micro USB port for charging but due to many comments from the campaign backers, they changed it and now you can charge it using a USB type C port. It also comes with a compatible cable so you don’t have to worry about not being able to charge it with the cable from your phone.

The way you connect it to your smart device, which can be a smartphone but also a tablet or a computer, is using Bluetooth 5.0. It is compatible with multiple operating systems so it doesn’t really matter if you have an Android or iOS. It works with any wired headphone, as long as they have the 3.5 mm jack, but you don’t necessarily have to use only headphones. You can also connect the Auris Amplify to your home stereo, or even stereo in your car while you drive around. An additional feature this amplifier offers is syncing 2 Amplify’s together in order for two people to listen to the same music from the same smartphone at the same time.

Talking about the design of the Auris Amplify, it has a simple aluminum housing with sleek design and you get to choose between black or silver color of the device. It is made to be easily portable, being lightweight you can take it anywhere with you, and it also has a clip on the back so you can mount it on your clothes or bag. On the device, you can find three buttons that allow you to answer and end calls, control music without your smartphone, and even get in touch with the digital assistant your phone offers.

You can pre-order your Auris Amplify from crowdfunding website Indiegogo with many perks to choose from, starting with Early Bird offer at $59, to Indiegogo Special offer for $69. There are also offers for two devices if you wish to share your favorite tunes with your friends, going from $98 to $118. The production of the device starts in October and by December you will already have it in your hands.
