i-box Ellipsis: new smart speaker that plugs into the wall
Amazon Echo Dot has become one of the most popular smart speakers on the market but, even though it is extremely functional and convenient to have as it is compact in size, it does come with a cable. In most cases, it is not a problem but there are sometimes when you don’t have a space for the cable and the device on the table, or you just don’t have a surface it can be on for example, in your hallway. The i-box Ellipsis is a smart speaker, very similar in design to the Echo Dot, that plugs straight into the power socket and offers you Amazon Alexa on your service.
The biggest perk of the i-box Ellipsis is the fact that it can fit into rooms that are not as convenient for the regular Echo, and help you cover more area of your home from which you can command Alexa. You can connect up to eight i-box Ellipsis at the same time on one network and place them in various rooms. Of course, as it is a speaker, it will play music for your, but also do other tasks you are used to seeing from Alexa, such as news, weather, etc. The speakers use walls in advantage making the sound more powerful that you would expect from such a small device.
I-box Ellipsis is by design very similar to the Echo, having the lights circle on it and the same color scheme, dark and light blue housing. It has four buttons in front that serve for volume control, giving instructions to Alexa and finally, a button for turning off the microphone so that Alexa can’t hear what you are saying. It comes with a companion app that is compatible for both iOS as well as Android, which will assist you to set up your i-box Ellipsis smart speaker, but you will need Wi-Fi and Amazon user account.
