Google Assistant on HD display with the JBL Link View

If you have followed the recent news, you probably noticed the new Lenovo Smart Display, the first smart display powered by Google Assistant. Now, a week later, the second one is already coming our way, the new JBL Link View which features JBL speaker offering a high quality sound that rivals Lenovo’s newest addition.

The new JBL Link View is a smart 8-inch touch-screen display with Google Assistant. It works on the same principle as Google Home when it comes to the tasks it can perform, but with the addition of the screen which makes some actions easier and more convenient. And it also has an IPX4 rating meaning it is splashproof keeping it safe even if you use it in the kitchen for cooking. JBL Link View features a 5MP front camera which you can use for video calls.

Talking about the sound quality, JBL Link View features what is always expected from JBL with the rich stereo sound and deep bass. You also have the option to stream music using Bluetooth 4.2 from your smartphone or laptop. Considering the privacy of its users, JBL added a Privacy Switch that shuts the camera and mutes the microphone whenever you want.

The price of the JBL Link View is $249.95 on JBL website, the same as the 10-inch Lenovo Smart Display. It is already ready for preorder but the shipping will start in a month, starting from 3rd September.
