Kozmophone is a new extraordinary turntable on Kickstarter

Music has been always the passion of some people, nowadays we use our phones, TVs, or computers to listen to music, but before there was the phonograph, as we all know, phonographs still exist as turntables, and audiophiles are still using them to listen to high-quality music, or even to record their music. But our turntable today is taking turntables to the next level, so let’s see what can the Kozmophone do.

The Kozmophone is a new crowd-funded project by Arcateliers which started a campaign on Kickstarter. The new project is basically a turntable but with a lot more to offer, Kozmophone offers Bluetooth-streaming, holograph-projecting, and wireless-charging, that’s of course with playing records.

While Kozmophone has a horn that to deliver the sound, the horn here is actually a portable speaker, so you can detach it and move it wherever you want, the speaker also supports Bluetooth streaming, so you can connect your phone and use it as a speaker without the need to use the turntable, and in case you don’t want to move the speaker out, it has 360-degree rotation to send audio anywhere in your room.

Talking about outputs, the new turntable has an RCA output in case you want to connect it to much powerful speakers, plus a 3.5 mm jack to use headphones for a private session.

What we have seen so far is still pretty similar to any other turntable, but the Kozmophone still has something to offer, on the top of the device, you will have a wireless charger for supported devices like iPhone X for example, and underneath the wireless charging pad, there is a small holographic projector.

There is also lighting at the bottom of the device which you can choose the color of it using the Kozmo app on your phone.

The new turntable is still in the crowd-funding stage, where you can help funding the project and get your own Kozmophone for $249 only, it’s good to know that the project has reached its goal, therefore the Kozmophone will see the light by the end of this year as promised by the company.

The Kozmophone is available in many colors which are red, black, blue, yellow, green or white, and if you would like to go fancy, there is an option of a $5000 18K gold special edition Kozmophone.
