MEE audio Connect Universal Dual Headphone or Speaker Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter for TV Review

Introduction:

The MEE audio Connect Bluetooth 4.0 transmitter for TV may be one of the devices that we can say is one of a kind – not to the fact where it can be truly unique, but it offers functionality that would somehow benefit the user.

Setup:

The MEE audio Connect itself is easy to set up. Once you decide which audio connection you would like to use, you can then start pairing the device with your headphone. Simply put the device in pairing mode so you can easily pair your headphones to the MEE audio Connect.

Performance:

For testing I hooked up the MEE audio Connect to my HDTV using the optical output. The connection is flexible, and I also used it to connect the device to my Apple TV. Basically any other audio source with the supported output is compatible with the MEE audio Connect.

The sound quality was great – though half of the performance will also depend on the headphones you are using. Still, fidelity is preserved and there was no definite loss in quality when I was listening through the headphones. There was no distortion on various audio sources I’ve feeded – this included music, movies and games.

The battery lasted about 9 and a half hours before it needed charging. And even if you need to charge it, it will take only an hour and a half to complete.

Supplied Accessories:

  • Connect Bluetooth Transmitter
  • Micro-USB charging cable
  • 3.5mm audio cable

Cons

  • None to mention

Conclusion:

The MEE audio Connect is very easy to use that I can’t really find a fault when using the device. It’s an inexpensive way for you to get wireless audio straight from your TV and remove the hassles of messy wires. Highly recommended.

  1. No one writes about it, but with this device you can wirelessly connect the amplifier to your TV, in my case Yamaha R-N602 with the tv’s SONY 49XE9005. The sound is clearer and better than through the normal bluetooth from tv that has visible delays and in every 2-3 seconds it breaks for a while. MEE AC gives the difference almost imperceptible. Unfortunately, this solution is due to the need to hide all cables. The quality thru cable is obviously better. Unfortunately I get the feeling that even the best quality content is underlined by the low bandwidth, which is good in some way, especially in movies gives you more powerful effects.
To connect this set of devices, you need to disconnect other devices from bluetooth (even turn off the tv’s bt) so that the amplifier detects only MEE.
Personally, I am very happy with MEE. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to use it with wireless headphones and rather there will be no occasion. For me, the cable is a cable.

  2. Had the mee for almost a year. Problem now is that’s it shutting off after a minute of two.
Power supply is OK but the green power light is off. Turning it off then on light comes on then goes off.
Could it be internal battery is the problem.
