MyBoom Studio Will Let You Design Your Customized Speaker
If you are planning on buying a new wireless speaker, then you definitely should check the UE Boom 3 speaker. And now you have one more reason to buy the Boom 3, you can customize your new speaker the way you want it so it goes with your style. Ultimate Ears, the company behind the Boom speakers announced on March the 3rd its new service, MyBoom Studio. The new service will let you design your own Boom 3 speaker.
On the website of the service, you will get to choose between thousands of different colors. You can pick a different design for the fabric, end caps, volume buttons, spine, and the small loop on the top of the spine. You can even choose a word or a phrase to be engraved on the spine on the back of the speaker.
“Our speakers have always reflected the unique styles of our listeners, but up until today, our fans were limited with the color and design options we made available to them,” said Charlotte Jobs, general manager of Ultimate Ears, in a press release. “With myBOOM 3, we’ve created this enjoyable and unique design studio where music enthusiasts can show their creativity and give their favorite Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 speaker a truly personalized look and feel.”
Once you open the website, you will get to choose between two options, the first is the design your own customized speaker, the second is “I’m Feeling Lucky” which will pick you color and design randomly.
So far, the service is now available in the US on MyBoom Studio website, as well as at select T-Mobile stores in Chicago and Miami. So far, there are no plans to expand the service outside of the US that we know about. But it all depends on how successful the service will be.
