Neat Acoustics added new Iota Xplorer floor standing speaker

Neat Acoustics stands behind four high-end ranges of speakers for all of which they have put musical performance as a priority. Among the four ranges, Iota range has the Iota shelf speaker, the Alpha floor standing speaker and is now being added the new Iota Xplorer floor standing speaker that is based on the Alpha, but with improved and stronger components.

On the Iota Xplorer speaker, you can find a lot of similarities with the Alpha such as the air motion transformer (AMT) tweeter but now it is much bigger. The mid-bass drive unit with the treated paper cone is 6.5 inches in the Xplorer and its sensitivity is at 88dB. The minimum impedance is at 5 Ohms and its frequencies response is 25Hz all the way up to 22kHz.

You will be able to get excellent both instrumental sounds as well as the vocals that can fill up a big room. Iota Xplorer speaker also offers you a deep and powerful bass at just the right moments. The speaker is lifted above the ground a bit, which besides making it more aesthetically pleasing, serves the purpose for Neat Acoustics to also place a hidden bass driver with the sealed isobaric arrangement at the very bottom of the speaker for a better response.

Iota Xplorer floor standing speaker goes for around $4,500 and you can choose between four finishes: natural oak, American walnut, black oak and even satin white.
