Exposure 5010 series features new pre and power amplifiers

Exposure, the British HiFi system manufacturer has added yet another series to their product range, besides the four already existing ones. The new Exposure 5010 series features a pre-amplifier as well as a pair of mono power amplifiers. They are supposed to be more compact than the other series and nicely fit into your living room with the simple and elegant style while providing you with real hi-fi sound.

The two new products of the Exposure 5010 series, the 5010 Pre Amplifier, and the 5010 Mono Power Amplifier both feature a custom made toroidal transformer as a part of the power supply of 200W for the pre-amplifier and 800W for the mono power amplifier, as well as screw terminal smoothing capacitors. Another common feature of these two products is that they are both DC coupled, and both have a high-quality aluminum casing.

When it comes to the 5010 Pre Amplifier, it offers a remote control on the front panel. You can select the input using a knob, as well as the usual volume control and mute option. The pre-amplifier has 6 line inputs out of which one can fit MC or MM phono module, or if you prefer you can plug in DAC options as well. Talking about the outputs, it has 2 RCAs, one pre-amp and one tape output. All of the audio outputs use a discrete transistor with a class A output buffer.

Following is the pair of 5010 Mono Power Amplifier in the Exposure 5010 series. It has a more simple and sleek design as it only has a power button on the front panel. It features a relay-switch on input with a goal of having the shortest signal path possible so it switches between either balanced or single-ended. The bipolar transistors are all carefully designed and the device features 8 per channel. Exposure also designed a slow start circuit that protects the device in case of a spike in voltage.

Both the pre-amplifier and the mono power amplifier of the Exposure 5010 series come in two colors you can choose from, black and titanium. With three year guarantee, you can purchase the pre-amplifier for around $2635, while the pair of mono power amplifiers is being sold for around $5595.
