New high-end Bookshelf Speakers by Shinola

Two American companies, Shinola, the manufacturer from Detroit, and Barefoot Sound, high-end professional audio monitor manufacturer from Portland came together to create their Bluetooth shelf speakers, simply named Shinola Bookshelf Speakers that are supposed to replace the Shinola’s original bookshelf speakers. They are designed to fit the interior design of your space and at the same time offer you high-resolution sound that will easily fill-in even bigger rooms.

The new Shinola Bookshelf speakers can work alone without an additional receiver or amplifier as they are powered active speaker system. Regarding the connectivity, as already mentioned, Shinola Bookshelf Speakers use Bluetooth as the main way to connect to your devices, but it is important to mention that they also have several inputs you can also use besides this. There is also a USB type C input which is a nice addition as it is still not a standard for all speakers. They do not have a supporting app, basically, they are plug-and-play speakers, but you can, of course, connect them to a turntable and still get great results.

The audio excellence of Shinola Bookshelf Speakers is to be assigned to Barefoot Sound, given the sound clarity and good bass that will fill the whole room. Both instruments and vocals are clear, and even at high volumes, the sound does not lose quality. It contains an High-Efficiency Class D amplifier. The tweeter on each Shinola Bookshelf Speaker is a 1.5-inch soft dome tweeter and it also features a 6.5-inch custom high-excursion surround woofer. Each channel has 100 watts power output. The speakers are entirely designed and made in the US.

Shinola Bookshelf Speakers will launch on 12th July and you will be able to purchase them for $1,500 from Shinola website, in full black housing or combination of natural oak and black wood.
