Nuheara IQbuds Max: first smart earbuds with ANC feature

Nuheara has been building its brand as a smart-hearing company that offers smart true wireless headphones with better sound performance. Besides the two existing versions, IQbuds and IQbuds BOOST, Nuheara is releasing their latest IQbuds Max true wireless earbuds at CES 2019, describing them as the first intelligent earbuds that feature active noise cancelling feature.

What makes the IQbuds different from other true wireless earbuds is the EarID auto-calibration system which adjusts the sound as well as noise cancellation based on each ear’s hearing. As they are intended for those users which have mild to moderate hearing loss in one or both ears, this feature come in handy helping people enjoy the music or sounds around them more. This means that these smart earbuds filter out noise in the environment, allowing the user to hear people around them better and more clear.

Besides the noise canceling feature that was not present in previous two models, Max model also offers the best sound due to 5 times more processing power than the other two models, relying on a triple-core On-Ear DSP system designed for advanced hearing processing, making the enhanced sound as natural as possible.

Talking about the battery, IQbuds Max can hold on up to 5 hours of playback time using Bluetooth connectivity, while they can handle up to 8 hours of hearing processing. The magnetic charging case offers up to 4 additional full battery charges. The EarID calibration system can be accessed through the app which is compatible with iOS and Android.  

IQbuds Max earbuds are still not available and are not expected to be ready for shipping sooner than the second half of 2019. Nuheara still did not release the official price but it is known that they will be more expensive than the IQbuds BOOST released last year for $500.
