Controlled by AudioCubes, Percussa displays the Synthor System 8

In California’s NAMM show 2017, The American musical hardware maker Percussa introduced its new Synthor System 8.

The Synthor System 8 is a hardware digital modular synth that has three main parts; the Engine module with Synthor software, the Remote wireless base station, and eight wireless AudioCubes that serve as a patching interface.

The system’s synthesis software can be controlled using a wireless remote or by moving the AudioCubes apart from each other.

This system is similar to Reactable, but the engine used in Synthor System 8 will be the interest point for those who like to create complex digital synths.

Another interesting feature of the Synthor System 8 is the ability to expand the system with more synth modules using and external SD card.

The main module of the system can be mounted above the remote using aluminum rack ears.

The price is yet to be announced but you can always check Percussa‘s website for more information.
