New Razer Hammerhead earphones give USB C phone users a great 3.5mm replacement

Despite many users opposing the abandonment of 3.5mm headphones jack in newer devices, it doesn’t appears to have enough effect to stop more manufacturers each year from releasing 3.5-less smartphones. We now have USB-C to look up into for the future, and luckily we’re starting to see some good quality earphones like these new Razer pair.

USB-C earphones range now offers a little more choice as the new Razer Hammerhead USB-C joins the list. The announcement comes very close to the release of the new Razer Phone making it the best choice for it since it lacks the beloved 3.5mm jack. These neon green earphones also have in-line volume controls on one of the two wires, along with a mic to take calls. You’ll also find that Razer Hammerhead has magnetic properties, giving you the option to stick the two pieces together when not in use to reduce the tangled wires.

Razer Hammerhead USB-C comes only in Neon Green as of now, and you should expect to pay $80 ordering through the Razer Store where you’ll receive a free custom case with your purchase. Two Hammerhead models for Lightning port as well as Bluetooth connection are also available, as they were released earlier this year.
