Samsung Q smart TV series.. All you need to know

Samsung keeps surprising us with more and more creative products, and this year is certainly no exception as the Korean tech giant delivered us a new TV series. In a convention held on 14th March 2017, Samsung uncovered a new QLED TV series consisting of 4 new amazing TVs, with huge sizes starting at 55”.

The new Samsung TVs focus on three main features, this is all you need to know about these new TVs.

Q Picture

QLED TVs had many new enhancements compared to its preceding SUHD TVs, these enhancements include better brightness and screen clarity, plus having a wider color brightness range, and better viewing angles.

What Samsung did with these screens is using a new technology; adding more metallic elements in the Quantum Dot materials used in the screen, it isn’t clear how adding metallic elements changes the Quantum Dot’s behavior, but it looks like it’s working just fine.

These TVs also Support HDR content, and the picture quality for this type of content will definitely amaze you.

Q Smart

The smart TV OS Tizen that Samsung developed us getting more and more interactive as the time pass, this time Samsung added a compatible remote called “Samsung One” which is said to support many other devices and will feature smart voice control.

Samsung’s Smart Hub is also updated for more customizability using the Samsung’s Smart View application available on App stores. They also made a new panel to control most music services from one place.

Q style

The design definitely got better with these new TVs, the new design allows the TV to be stuck closely to the wall leaving no space in between, this means a cleaner and neater room. Plus, all the external attachments are connected to the TV using one fiber cable and an external cable box, this cable is slim and almost unnoticeable. And for those who prefer not to hang their TVs, Samsung provides two different screen stands, fitting with any room decoration.

This is the basic version of the QLED TV, featuring a flat screen and LED.

65-inch Q7F – $4,000

75-inch Q7F – $6,000

Q7C – Samsung Q7C QLED TV

This one comes with a curved screen and the same features as the previous but doesn’t come in 75”.

These come with better properties compared to the previous and doesn’t come with a flat screen design.

These TVs are the ones with the best features in this series, which is kind of strange knowing the fact that they come with a flat screen, not a curved one.

  1. QLEDTV seems to be a innovative design and a very interesting advance in technology. I would like to receive a technical information as complete as possible. Information will serve two purposes from mine, one I am a Electronic Engineer and the other one is a very potencial purchaser of a 55QLED TV.
