Samsung Remote Access is the future of smart TVs in 2019

Have you ever thought why can’t we use our smart home devices and screens just like in movies where you can easily switch from a screen to the other without making any effort? Yes, we are already in the 21st century, but this is not possible yet. We are not going to answer this question right now but you will be happy to know that Samsung is already working on a solution. A few days ago, the tech giant announced a new feature for its 2019 TV lineups. Samsung Remote Access will allow users to control multiple devices through their smart TV.

Remote Access will let you connect your PC, laptop, tablet, and smartphone with your smart TV wirelessly so you would be able to control computer programs and other apps remotely from your PC. just like in movies, right?

Not only other smart devices can be connected to your smart TV, input devices like a mouse or a keyboard can also be connected to the TV so you can control the content you are sharing between screen easily. Now you can access your PC or laptop in your room from your smart TV in the living room without the need for any cables.

In addition to its main feature, Remote Access will also allow users to access a web browser-based cloud office service so they can open, view, and edit documents using their smart TV.

Samsung partnered with VMware, a leading name in the software industry to deliver VMware Horizon which is a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) that will allow users to access Samsung Remote Access anywhere in the world.

“Samsung is committed to creating an intuitive and convenient user experience for consumers. With Remote Access, consumers will be able to easily access various programs, apps and cloud services installed on multiple connected devices directly through their TV screen,” said Hyogun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung.

Samsung Remote Access is another thing to look forward to in 2019. Hopefully, we will get a closer look at it at CES 2019 next month if Samsung decides to release any new TVs.
