Samsung is working on a new smart speaker, A Galaxy Home Mini?
A few months ago, Samsung announced its new Galaxy Home smart speaker. While the smart speaker is not on sale yet, the news is spreading that Samsung is making another speaker alongside the Galaxy Home. there is no news on what the other speaker might look like but it will be safe to expect a “Galaxy Home Mini”, a small smart speaker to compete with Google Home Mini and Amazon Echo Dot.
SamMobile released these new leaks revealing that Samsung is working on a new speaker model with the number SM-V310. Considering that the original Galaxy Home has the model number SM-V510, then the new speaker is related to it somehow.
We also know that the new speaker will come in black but that’s all we know so far. We have to wait until the launch of the Galaxy Home and hope to see the other speaker next to it.
All eyes now are looking forward to CES 2019 tech expo which will start next month in Las Vegas. CES 2019 will probably be the platform that Samsung will use to release the Galaxy Home smart speaker.
It won’t be easy for Samsung to enter the already established market of smart speakers with other smart speakers getting more popular like Google Home, Amazon Echo, Apple HomePod, and even Sonos One. the market is full of choices and Samsung has to offer something special in order to keep up with the competition.
