Scansonic M-series features new and improved drivers

Scansonic comes with a long history behind its name, as well as the electronics involved in its products. The loudspeakers they offer are designed in Denmark and the person behind it is the designer for products of Sansonics’s parent company Raidho which offers high-end loudspeakers. Scansonic also offers a high-end quality of speakers but with a more contemporary design and with a bit more affordable price. They are introducing their newest Scansonic M-series featuring 3 new speaker units that will have improved driver design from their previous models.

The three speakers from the Scansonic M-series, M-10 which is a compact two-way mini-monitor and M-20 and M-40 which are 2.5-way floor-standing speakers, all features the same high-resolution ribbon tweeter which is usually used for their higher priced loudspeakers, in particular, MB-series. The ribbon tweeter blends with improved bass/midrange drivers with the honeycomb enforced glass-fiber design of the membrane itself. Scansonic has combined magnet-system with this design in order to create an extremely detailed sound that can fill out the whole room.

All of the loudspeakers in Scansonic M-series have a protective front grill that is easily removable if you wish so, as well as adjustable feet so that they can be stable on the floor without falling. The housing comes in satin black or satin white color.

The recommended prices of M-10, M-20, and M-40 in Scansonic M-series are $800, $1.800 and $2.400 respectively.
