BulletX earbud by Schatzii lets you talk on the phone in rain

As a lot of new wireless earbuds are designed and released, many of them do not have any waterproof rating. And it usually happens that if they do, it is the running or workout headphones that can withstand sweat, but rarely anything more than that. BulletX earbud is the last newcomer to the Bullet series of earbuds by Schatzii, among others which include their smallest earbud as well as ones specially designed for driving. BulletX earbud offers IPX7 waterproof rating and here are some of its features.

The BulletX earbud comes as a single unit, not in a pair like we are used to seeing from other brands in the market, but it has some strong features that will still allow you to talk on your phone even if you are in the crowd. It features CVC active noise reduction and even echoes suppression so the person on the other side of the call will hear your voice clearly. This earbud is intended mostly for phone calls rather than actively listening to music, but it can do that for you as well if you wish to enjoy it during a ride home.

The BulletX earbud is made to be very light so that you do not feel it in your ear while moving, but also ergonomically designed to comfortably sit in your ear all day. It comes in both black and white color option of the earpiece and the carrying case. The whole design is very simple and classy, and the design of the charging dock goes with the name of the device as it is a small long tube. As already mentioned, this earbud offers high waterproof ranking at IPX7, making them safe from sweat if you decide to take them on the run, but you can use them even if you find yourself out during rain.

Talking about the connectivity of the BulletX earbud, it uses the Bluetooth 4.1 to connect to your smartphone. As many business people have more than one smartphone, Schatzii added the multi-point connectivity feature that allows you to connect to two devices at the same time and use both of them for taking calls. The operating range is 10 meters, just like in other Bluetooth earbuds, which will be quite enough.

The battery life is around 3-5 hours, but as its primary intention is to assist in phone calls, it will most likely last through the whole day with 8-10 hours of standby time but you can, of course, listen to music as well. Moreover, the carrying case for the earpiece not only holds the device but also offers you up to 6 full charges to your BulletX earbud. Both the earpiece and the case have light signaling which will let you know it is time to recharge.

The original price of the BulletX earbud when it was sold on Indiegogo, the famous crowdfunding website, was $250, but you can purchase them now at a discount for half of the price, that is $125.
