Sonos’ partnership with music streaming services is on its way

As one of the most popular speakers and home sound system manufacturers, Sonos have started making some changes lately, starting with going public late last week and selling its shares which have already seen a jump worth mentioning. Besides announcing that later this year, the company will enable Google Assistant on its speakers, in addition to Alexa that is already enabled on some speakers and soundbars, Sonos’ partnership with music streaming services is another step towards reaching a new goal of targeting more specific audience for advertisement of their products.

The goal of Sonos is to reach as many people as possible and show themselves as a good option to potential consumers when it comes to speaker and sound system, but as they are competing with much bigger companies, they need to target the audience that is more likely to become loyal consumers in the future. They believe that what makes them different from other companies on the market is that their high-quality products are going to serve their owners a while longer than other popular brands’ might.

The first step was earlier this year when Sonos partnered with Spotify for a music playlist promotion, and similar collaborations are to come. By working with popular streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora and even Apple Music, they are able to reach almost 200 million users. Sonos’ partnership with music streaming services, among them Apple Music, Spotify, and Pandora, is coming but with the changes in the company, we are eager to see what else will Sonos do in the future.
