Sonos Playbase A new slim soundbase positioned uner your TV
Sonos revealed a new soundbase speakers to it’s compatible TV family, Sonos Playbase with a Slim unique design to fit comfortly under your tv.
The new soundbase fit very will with non wall-mounted tv’s, aimed to 70% of TV owners with no ability to wall-mount theri TV’s, it’s better alternative for soundbar.

It comes with identical specifics found on soundbar for the audio quality and design and for the same price “700£” with support to digital optical audio output connection not HDMI.
No DTS or HD audio formats supported which found on Dolby TrueHD technlogy but, Playbase comes with support for Dolby Digital 5.1 audio technology.
You can connect Sonos Playbase to any othe Sonos speakers with the same tech “Sonos’ Trueplay room equalisation” and you can connect it to the Sonos Sub and Sonos rear speakers in a ‘5.1’ setup.
Sonos made it easy for users to choose between their soundbar or the new Playbase model which comes with thinner design and the ability to place it under your tv.
With 58mm tall, the new Soundbase is the thinnest model in Sonos speakers, measures 72cm wide and 38cm deep and weighs about 8.6kg which is heavier than soundbar speakers.
The front controlls is basic with the ability to pause/play music tracks or adjust volume controls via +/- Buttons and of-course next/previous to switch between audio tracks.
Sonos mentioned their individually-drilled 43,000 hole in the speaker grill to filter the audio/air with high quality sound.
