Visual Snapshots is the new feature from Google Assistant

Since the start of the smartphones age, smartphones have been always visualized as the smart assistant that will help you to do your business, manage your time, and much more, but if you actually take a look at what we use smartphones for, you can clearly see that it wasn’t that much of a help. But Google is making it true for the first time, with Google Assistant new feature, Google Visual Snapshots tab will give you instant updates on your flights, reservation, deliveries and many other daily things.

First announced in Google I/O conference back in may, Visual Snapshots is a new feature in Google Assistant that is coming out this week, and it is super easy to access, you just need to open your Google Assistant, and press on the new Snapshot button in the right top corner of the screen, and if you are using Google Assistant on iOS, then it’s much easier as the new items will start to appear on the screen as soon as you open the app.

What you will see in the new tab is a live update on traffic on your way to work so you don’t get any late, Google Assistant will also show you your flights time if you have any, and it will even send you notifications in case your flight is delayed or canceled for example. After that, you will have your daily agenda, any reservation you have made, in a restaurant, for a movie night, or even for a date.

One thing worth mentioning is that in order to get notifications from your Google Assistant on any changes in your plan, you need to activate the proactive notifications, your assistant will update you then in case of any change or inconvenient.

Because Google is using AI to provide these services, so the more you use it, the more it gets better, so make sure that you start using your assistant, as it will actually make your life easier.
