Bose provides also you with a pretty sturdy case so that you do not have to be worried a lot about it when exercising. You can connect your earbuds to your smartphone through an app, which offers you to some options like setting up a nickname for them, muting sound in one or the other earbud as well as “find my buds” option so that you can find them if they get misplaced.

Jabra Elite Sport

As the other earphones on the list, Jabra Elite Sport are wireless making them convenient for working out. They are compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled devices meaning you can listen to music or take calls no matter what device you own. Android and Apple iOS users are given a feature of using Jabra Sport Life app which is an excellent addition and help you follow your workout and progress on the smartphone by keeping track of steps, heart rate, speed and even calories. The app also provides real-time coaching feedback.

Jabra Elite Sports do have a good sounds quality but Jabra really took care of its customers by including the option of using Hear Through, which enables you to hear more of your surrounding making it is safer to exercise outside. Nevertheless, they have passive noise cancellation if you wish to only enjoy your music without being bothered by other noise. The earbuds are both dustproof as well as waterproof up to one-meter depth, submerged up to 30 minutes at a time max.

As these headphones are specifically designed for sports, they measure a lot of different things such as heart rate, speed, calories, distance and even laps. These headphones connect to most smartphones, smartwatches but also gym equipment and even bike computers. Talking about the battery life of KuaiFit Sport headphones, it can last up to 7 hours which is pretty good, even for runners that require more than average 3 to 4 hours that other headphones offer. They do not come with an additional battery in a case like most of the other wireless headphones do, so the way you charge them is through a micro USB port.

Plantronics BackBeat FIT

Plantronics BackBeat Fit headphones are designed specifically for workout. Besides fulfilling their initial function of listening to music and answering phone calls, you can also access PEAR Personal Coach App that offers you 12 different workouts with interactive audio coaching from other athletes or trainers. It also has different language options such as French, German, Japanese etc. They are a bit better for Apple iOS than Android, but they still work pretty well with both voice assistants. They are not completely noise-cancelling so you will be able to stay in contact with your surrounding during your workout.

Similarly to other Plantronics headphones, BackBeat Fit model has good sound quality. It also has a pretty rich base as the intended use of these headphones is for exercising. Besides headphones for listening to music, they have a good microphone so taking phone calls or accessing your voice assistant will not be an issue. They can withstand rain and have a sweat-proof coating.  

The design on Plantronics BackBeat Fit is the neckband design, meaning that the earbuds are connected to each other with a very flexible cord that moves following your motion so it will not bother you during any exercise. The earbuds themselves come only in one size but if you follow the instructions how to place them correctly, they will fit your head pretty well. They have buttons to access all of the functions and come in green, blue, fuchsia, grey and black color.

Regarding the battery, Plantronics BackBeat Fit has a good battery life that can last around 8 hours of music or 6 hours of talk time, with a voice notification of how much battery you have left each time you turn them on. They are charged through a micro USB port which is protected by a rubber cover. Note that there is also BackBeat Fit Boost Edition of these headphones that come with a charging pouch that contains 16 additional hours of listening time if you require more battery than what the standard ones offer.
