Spotify Car View is the latest feature on Spotify

Spotify is always working on improving its user experience, that includes all the efforts that the company is putting to make it safer for users to drive and listen to their favorite music and podcasts and control it. A few months ago Spotify’s controls were added to Google Maps to make it easier to control the music playback without the need to switch between the apps. Now, a new update seems to be coming to some users which has a new feature called Spotify Car View.

The new feature will be automatically enabled once you connect to your car’s Bluetooth interface the next time. The new view is much simpler than the regular Playing Now Spotify interface with bigger buttons and fonts which will make it easier for users to switch between songs without getting distracted from driving.

The Car View toggle appeared in the app a few months ago, but it didn’t seem to do anything back then. In case you didn’t like the new view you can always disable it from the app settings. You will also have the option to disable it for a single ride, just in case someone else was controlling the music for this ride.

Spotify’s new update is still rolling out for users, you will have to be patient in case you didn’t get it yet. We still don’t know if there will be a toggle to turn on Car View manually for users that connect their phone to the car through an AUX cable. But we have to wait and see.
