Audio-Technica G1 headphones for gamers announced

Audio-Technica, the headphones producer, is releasing two new pairs of headphones that are designed to offer gamers a premium experience. The new Audio-Technica G1 headphones, ATH-G1 and ATH-G1WL, are an update to the previous M50x model from 2014 and are made to be both gaming and on-the-go headsets.

The ATH-G1 model is wired and features 45mm drivers that offer studio quality sound. It has a  flexible detachable microphone that provides a loud and clear voice by not picking up the environmental noise, and it can be put away whenever not in use. The two-meter long cable has volume control and microphone mute button and can also be detached. Overall, the headphones are made to be lightweight and comfortable for the long gaming sessions.

The second model from the new Audio-Technica G1 headphones is the wireless ATH-G1WL model. Like the previous model, it has 45 mm drivers for studio-quality sound during the game but it takes it to another level with the closed-back design and switchable 7.1 surround sound. It features a detachable microphone that picks up on your voice out of environmental noise, offering crystal-clear communications. The battery life is approximately 15 hours of playback time, but if the battery runs out, the headset can be connected to a computer using the USB charging cable.

Audio Technica G1 headphones are still not available for purchase but they are expected to be officially released for sale sometime in July. The price of the ATH-G1 is going to be around $200, while the ATH-G1WL is going to be sold for around $290.
