B&O Launches Beoplay E8 Sport On Limited Edition

Almost two months ago, Bang & Olufsen released its E8 Sport wireless earbuds. Now, the company is putting more focus on the E8 earbuds by cooperating with the Swiss sports brand On and releasing a special limited edition of the E8, The Beoplay E8 Sport On Edition.

“Bang & Olufsen and running brand On have joined forces to create a limited edition of Beoplay E8 Sport wireless earphones, tapping into the powerful link between music and running.”

The Beoplay E8 Sport On Edition earbuds are the latest addition to B&O wireless headphones lineup. These new buds are housed in a compact charging case that features performance-driven materials from the sports universe, including rubber, textured silicone and corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum.

The E8 Sport On earbuds feature touch controls on each earbud, so users can switch between tracks, take calls, and activate Transparency Mode by simply tapping or swiping on one of the earbuds. 

Users don’t need to worry about battery life when using the E8 On edition, a single charge provides you with 7 hours of music playback, with 3.5 charges available in the charging case that would take the number to a total of 30 hours of battery life. This amount of juice would last more than most marathons. The earbuds are also IP57 certified sweat-resistant and completely waterproof down to one meter for 30 minutes.

This special edition of the E8 earbuds features both Bang & Olufsen and On’s minimalist logos, highlighted by a colour contrasting aluminum rings and a cloud pattern. As a bonus, On and B&O have released an “8D immersive” guided marathon experience to help you prepare for race day.

The Beoplay E8 Sport On Edition earbuds are available through Bang & Olufsen website as well as many sports retailers, priced at $350.
