DHT-S216 soundbar features DTS Virtual: X technology
Denon has announced yet another new soundbar, just a few months after expanding its selection with a premium model. The new DHT-S216 is designed to fit perfectly under your TV and offer DTS Virtual:X based immersive audio that will make anything you watch feel even more real than ever.
Talking about the design, the new Denon soundbar is 6cm tall which means it will fit under your TV without affecting the IR sensor. The soundbar features dual mid-range drivers, two 1-inch tweeters and two 3-inch down-firing woofers which, as Denon states, will be enough to deliver bass without the need for additional subwoofers. It also has an HDMI in and output, Optical input and also allows you to wirelessly stream audio using Bluetooth.
When it comes to the technology behind the new DHT-S216, the soundbar features DTS Virtual:X audio format which stimulates a multi-channel soundtrack using 3D algorithms. It offers several different Modes including Pure, Movie, Music and Night Modes that bring out specific characteristics of the played audio. Dialogue Enhancer model also has three levels that you can choose from in order to enhance the clarity of dialogue in the series without actually increasing the volume.
Denon DHT-S216 soundbar is already available for sale on the company’s website, sold for 249$.
