Fiio Adds USB-Output to X7, X7 Mark II, X5 3rd Gen

Like many other manufacturers of portable music players situated in China, Fiio’s philosophy tends to be “sell first, fix later”. But this isn’t just limited to bugs, often various features are advertised, but when you look at the small print it’ll state that said features will only be available with some future update.
To put things into perspective, the original X7 has been available for over 2 years, the X5 3rd Gen was unveiled around 18 months ago, and the X7 Mark II was introduced just under a year ago. Now it seems that finally Fiio is able to bring USB-output to these 3 devices.
The respective updates bring more than just the addition of this USB-output functionality to Fiio’s devices, as some new software features and other fixes have also been included.
