IFA 2019: Garmin Venu Is The Latest Smartwatch Line

During the IFA 2019, Garmin revealed several new wearables including the Vivomove 4 watch. The company also used the show to reveal the new Garmin Venu watch which seems to be the biggest surprise to all of us, especially as other models were leaked quite a bit in the previous few weeks.

Garmin Venu is the first smartwatch to be a part of the new Venu series and it is officially the first watch by the company to have an AMOLED display. Most other big brands such as Fitbit have already switched from LCD screens, making this a crucial step for Garmin to stay in the competition.

It is made to be worn 24/7, allowing you to keep track of many metrics the watch offers. This includes body energy levels, respiratory tracking, blood oxygen levels, sleep monitoring, menstrual cycle tracking, stress and hydration tracking, and, of course, your heart rate. Other than that, it offers similar features as other new Garmin watches, meaning you can rely on your favorite music from Sporty, Deezer and Amazon Music, Garmin Pay for contactless payments, Connect IQ store for apps and watch faces, as well as Garmin Coach for personal running tips and guidelines.

Garmin Venu watch is going to be available sometime in September but its retail price is already known: $400. You can choose between Slate, Rose Gold, Silver and Gold stainless steel bezel in complementing silicone band colors.
