Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed Feature USB-C

Logitech is listening to the gamers community and releasing a wireless version of its Pro X gaming headphones. The new Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed is almost identical to its wired predecessor with some differences like being wireless. The wired version is one of the best gaming headsets in the market, and Logitech G is promising the same excellent performance with the wireless version.

The Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed uses a USB-C port for charging which makes it one of the few if not the first wireless gaming headsets to use USB-C. The headset features 20 hours of battery life.

In order to ensure great connectivity through Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology, the new wireless headset uses a 2.4GHz USB Type-A wireless receiver which, according to Logitech, can keep the headphones connected up to 13 meters away.

Just like the wired version, the Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed headphones feature advanced Blue VO!CE software, which allows you to adjust the settings of your mic for live streaming and recording. The two 50mm drivers and next-generation DTS 7.1 surround sound guarantee the high-quality sound as well as positional awareness.

One of the ways the new wireless headset is different from the wired one is the buttons. The new Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed feature a dedicated mute button for the mic as well as a rubber volume knob, both buttons are on the left ear cup near the removable boom microphone. The wired version has the same controls, but they are located on the wire.

The Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed will be available in August for $199.99 which is a bit expensive when compared to other gaming headsets in the market, but it’s worth it when we take the USB-C, and the DTS surround sound into account.
