Beats Powerbeats4 Will Be Available Soon!

When Apple released its latest Beats Powerbeats Pro earbuds, a lot of users were wondering if those earbuds are the equivalent of Powerbeats4 earbuds, apparently, that’s not the case. Apple is developing a new pair of true wireless headphones which will be the Beats Powerbeats4.

The latest iOS 13.3 update shows evidence that Apple is developing a new generation of its true wireless headphones Powerbeats with the support of the “Hey Siri” feature. According to 9to5Mac, the new headphones were mentioned as “Powerbeats4” in the update.

The update suggests that users will be able to talk to Siri using the hot word “Hey Siri” through their Powerbeats4 earbuds. This could mean that these new in-ear headphones could be a more budget-friendly option if we compare them to the Beats Powerbeats Pro headphones.

Having the “Hey Siri” functionality means that Apple will be using its proprietary H1 chip for connectivity. With the Apple H1 chip, the new Powerbeats will most likely support the “Announce Messages with Siri” feature which will allow Siri to read messages for you without the need to unlock your iPhone.

The difference between the Powerbeats3 and the Powerbeats Pro is that the Powerbeats3 had a wire connecting the two earpieces while the Pro version was completely wireless. Most probably the new Powerbeats4 will also be fully wireless making them a big update.

There is no official statement from Apple on the Beats Powerbeats4 release date yet. But if they are already mentioned in an iOS update means that we might hear an announcement from Apple any time soon.
