The PULSE SOUNDBAR+ is the Ultimate Soundbar

Bluesound is announcing its latest addition to its home entertainment audio lineup. The PULSE SOUNDBAR+ promises to be the “ultimate audiophile-grade soundbar”. Bluesound seems to have thought of everything when designing their new soundbar. From the slick design to connectivity and audio quality. So let’s take a look at this new device.

The Pulse Soundbar+ is a big soundbar. Measuring at 1073 x 141 x 70mm and weighing around 6.8kg making it one of the heaviest soundbar around. However, it should still be able to fit under most TVs out there. It ships along with a wall-mount bracket as well as two kickstand feet leaving users the freedom of how to install it in their living rooms. 

With a whopping 120 watts of power, the Pulse Soundbar+ features 8 drivers. This masterpiece offers support for Dolby Atmos, as well as other high-res audio formats like FLAC. it can support files up to a resolution of 24-bit/192kHz. Bluesound claims that the new Soundbar+ “is to audio what 8K TV is to video”. Let’s hope that it lives up to their promise. 

In order to process high-res files, the new soundbar features a custom-specified ARM Cortex A53 Quad-Core chipset, which can process audio 8 times faster than previous Bluesound models according to the company. To eliminate signal latency, the Soundbar+ features two WiFi chips.

When it comes to connectivity, the Soundbar+ offers a wide range of options. HDMI and HDMI eARC are present to ensure the full Atmos experience. Users also have Optical, RCA, and USB ports. As for wireless connections, it offers support for WiFi, Spotify Connect, and AirPlay 2. Two-way aptX HD Bluetooth is also present offering users the ability to stream music from any device they want. Last but not least, the Soundbar+ supports your virtual assistant whether it’s Amazon Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant. 

If you are not satisfied with the abilities of this massive soundbar, Pulse Soundbar+ can be connected with the Pulse Sub+ subwoofer, and a pair of Pulse Flex 2i wireless rear speakers to ensure the ultimate surround sound experience. 

The Bluesound Pulse Soundbar+ will be available next month, that’s April 2021. You can choose between two color options. Black which is priced at $899, as well as a white option priced at $999.
