Quad launches Artera Solus Hi-Fi system with aptX Bluetooth

Quad announced a new Artera Hi-Fi system under the name of Artera Solus, but actually it’s not just a Hi-Fi system. This is because of the features and characteristics that make it a powerful device, rather than any other Hi-Fi devices.

The company has announced the new system, which contains a number of features that make it a complete audio system. By having ES9018 Saber32; an eight-channel digital-to-analog converter, and DAC, which makes Artera Solus able to run PCM data Up to 32-bit/384kHz resolution besides DSD64, 128 and 256.

Artera Solus is the first Artera from the company that has a Bluetooth connection using aptX codec for ‘CD-like’ 16-bit/44.1kHz audio.

There are also four digital filtering options that allow you to adjust audio settings from discs and external sources simultaneously.

As for inputs, the device has five main inputs, two coaxial, two optical and a USB Type-B input, in addition to a pair of RCA inputs ready for analog sources.

It is expected that the company will launch another premium version of the series that can connect via Wi-Fi technology and can be controlled through an application on mobile phones running Android and iOS in the autumn.

On the other hand, this version will be available in the current February without specifying the day of the official launch, in black and silver for the front panels, all at £1500.
